Book Fee
Students are required to purchase their band books which will be used in class. Students must have this book for classroom and home use. Students keep these books. Please check with your director for the cost of books for your band class.
Book money is due by August 25, 2008.
Advanced Percussion Usage Fee
Students in the Percussion Section have access to all the percussive instruments. Middle school students put a lot of “wear & tear” on the instruments throughout the year. It is for this reason that we ask you pay a usage fee. Please understand if you break one of the school’s mallets or drum heads, you must pay for the broken equipment. The usage fee does not cover broken mallets. All money collected will be used for the upkeep of the percussion section.

Fund Raisers
Students who have paid their band contribution may participate in fund raisers. If you have not paid your band fees, your fund raiser profit will first be applied to the fees. Students who move to another school or drop band may not receive a refund from a fund raiser. The money will be moved to the general band account.
Student Trip Accounts
Each student in grades 6th – 8th has an individual trip account. Money earned from fund raisers & personal trip payments are recorded in this account. The account also includes money paid for fees, etc. Any money left in the account at the end of the 8th grade year is moved to the trip scholarship fund or used to purchase band equipment.
Lockers
Please keep your locker locked at all times to avoid losing your lock. Do not bother other lockers. If you are caught bothering another student’s locker, you will receive a referral.
There is a replacement fee of $5 charge for lost locks.
