The Ransom Knights is an after school chess club that was developed as part of our continuing commitment to provide the best possible education to our students.

The aim of this club is to promote the instruction and/or training of students in chess, thereby improving or developing their higher order critical thinking capabilities.

We pursue this aim by directing, supervising, and regulating chess activities for our members.

We promote the spirit of good sportsmanship and fair play in all chess contests and we also safeguard the physical, mental and moral welfare of all students.

Our meetings are every other Tuesday, starting September 25, 2007, from 3:30 until 5:00 (Portable Classroom 615).
