Working on certification in middle grades math.
Hobbies or interests: reading in spare time, movies
I went to Ransom for middle school. My dad teaches 7th grade math
at Ransom, though this year is his last year. I really enjoyed my
first year of teaching and really enjoy being here at Ransom.

8th Grade Science
I started my career in teaching in 1972 and my
first teaching assignment was at Ransom!
I received my teaching degrees from Okaloosa-Walton
Junior College and University of West Florida.
I had help in the decision to
become a teacher. My wife and mother said , I would be good at
teaching. They were wrong....I am GREAT!
I have many interests but my top three all deal
with the outdoors. Hunting, Fishing, and camping are my favorite
things.

8th Grade Civics
I started teaching in Escambia County in
1971. I moved to Ransom in 1994. I received a BS in
Education from the University of Missouri in St. Louis. I received
my Master in Curriculum and Instruction at the University of West
Florida Campus.
I have been honored several times in the past.

I chose to teach because I want
to make a positive difference in young peoples lives!
I enjoy reading, gardening,
political activities, and camping.

Eighth Grade

Mrs. Kendrick started her Teaching career in 1999
and started teaching at Ransom in 2000. She is a graduate
of the University of Southern Mississippi......GO EAGLES!

When asked why she chose to teach as her profession,
she replied:
I care about Teenagers. I remember what being
a teenager was like. It can be a difficult time, and having
caring teachers help.
She is married to an AIR Force man and they have
one son, a future football player! |
