I chose teaching because education has always been part of my life. My mother was an elementary teacher, and I have 3 brothers in the profession. I wasn’t going to teach, but my mom talked me into teaching for one year. That first year was all it took. I loved it! I have taught grades 2nd-8th.

Information

The material that will be covered in science will include sections on safety in the science class, metrics, physical science, earth science, and life science.

Homework will be assigned as often as necessary (usually once a week). Written assignments are on the board at the beginning of each chapter with the date due.

Grades count equally within the grade book unless otherwise informed.

All students are eligible for extra credit on each test. Extra work to bring up a grade on the report card will not be offered or accepted.

7th Grade Science

I started my teaching career in 1967. I moved to Ransom Middle School in 1997. I have a BS degree in Education.

I believe that when you teach, you touch the future!

My main hobbies are going to garage sales and spending time with my grandchildren.
